Keep the two products named
Pentel markets the selected EnerGel ink for quick drying, and SXS15 is a highlighter. Those separate product descriptions do not establish that SXS15 leaves a particular BL77 line unchanged at a particular time on your paper. This site has not run a smear test or measured the delay required between writing and highlighting.
Timing is not supplied by a slogan
Do not infer a fixed waiting time from words such as quick, fast or no-smear in marketing. A numeric delay would need relevant evidence for the selected pairing and conditions. We provide no universal seconds-to-wait chart, and a crisp editorial picture is not a test result. Keep any actual supplier claim attributed to its exact product and stated scope.
Choose a task-specific check
If highlighting your own gel notes is the central task, identify the pen, highlighter and paper together. Ask for applicable maker guidance or obtain a suitable sample before a large order. Record the marking sequence if you conduct your own check. A result for a different ink color, paper or marker does not automatically settle the setup you plan to buy.
What the price table answers
Our observed prices answer what selected products displayed in the US shop on the check date. They do not rank smear resistance or establish performance value per page. Choose only after separating confirmed price and fit information from the unresolved behavior. If the task requires a formal document standard, follow that requirement rather than relying on this general buying reference.
Order sequence matters
Highlighting a printed document and highlighting a newly written gel note are different selected tasks. Keep which material was marked first and the actual surface identity in a relevant test record. This site provides neither result. A product description for the highlighter alone cannot establish every pairing with handwriting or printing systems.
Separate observation from expectation
A maker quick-dry statement may help identify a candidate, but it does not give this reference a tested waiting interval. If your own trial later works for one setup, retain its specific conditions instead of labeling every gel/highlighter combination smear-free. The unresolved pairing should remain visible in a bulk purchasing decision.
Before you decide
- Keep the exact selected SKU, color and selling unit
- Check current maker scope and the actual seller offer
- Separate your assumptions from measured performance
