An unlisted body stays unverified in the refill finder

What is covered

The finder contains two documented relationships: BL77 to LR7, and SXS15 highlighter to SLR3 highlighter refill. It is deliberately not a complete Pentel catalog or a cross-brand compatibility database. Selecting another body does not mean it is incompatible; it means this research has not established a supported pair for it.

Why the default can withhold a result

A blank or unlisted model therefore produces an unverified message and a suggestion to check the exact maker page. This distinction avoids converting missing evidence into either a positive fit guarantee or a negative rejection. We have not inserted cartridges, checked every revision or measured the dimensions of the item in your drawer.

Do not use size alone

A shared 0.7 mm designation describes a point specification, not all mechanical details of a refill and body. Likewise, a similar cartridge photograph or a shared brand is insufficient for a documented model relationship. The tool does not infer a match from those fields and does not recommend trimming or other modifications.

Before purchasing an unknown pair

Find the body code and existing cartridge code, then consult the manufacturer for the exact pair. Keep any written confirmation with the order and verify color and selling unit at checkout. If evidence remains missing, compare prices only as an unresolved option rather than a confirmed usable replacement. A cheap unverified refill can still be the wrong purchase.

Unverified is a third state

A positive listed relationship, a negative documented incompatibility and a missing relationship are different evidence states. This finder has only the first and third for its narrow catalog. Choosing Other produces unverified; it does not publish a negative compatibility judgment about every model outside the two supported families.

Do not modify to force a match

A cartridge that appears close in a photograph may still lack a documented fit for the body. This reference supplies no cutting, spacer or spring-changing procedure. If the maker confirms another relationship, record its exact model scope and date before changing the lookup rather than treating an improvised fit as a catalog guarantee.
